I see we have AL and NL Root League's forming and am wondering if there would be enough interest to start a BL Root League.
We would have 10 American League and 10 National League Teams broken into Two 10 team divisions in there respective Leagues. We could have the Top 4 teams in each League making playoffs with the League winners playing in World Series.
This would be a unique league in that all players that belong to your root team's actual team belong to you at any given time. We would have an initial five-round draft from the 10 teams that are not root teams. Players from these teams are "outside players." They are drafted from the 5 AL and 5 NL teams that are not chosen as a Root Team. We then follow the Scoresheet schedule of supplemental drafts in the same manner.(5 drafts of TWO rounds each) The only tradeable players are your "outside players" for your root player's have to always be on your roster.
We would be able to protect 5 "outside player's" from year to year and the others would go back into the draft.
