This is a great league with some unique rules.
No supplemental drafts - we use a free agent system. Each team gets 9
picks it can use at any time between the end of the draft & the
trading deadline. The picks are tradeable.
Also, we have a 40-man roster limit - you must release a player to draft one once you're at the limit. We draft to rd 35 in the Spring. With 12 Teams we draft very deep into the player pool. This creates a different type of competition. We allow 3 Crossovers, which includes rookies and limit rookie slots to 5.
All communication is done through Yahoo Groups. We use Scoresheets web based draft.
Team #8 is available. The owner of Team #8 did not use 8 of his free agent picks last year. We would allow a new owner to draft up to 8 players off the available players list. This does not include Crossovers or June draftees. Granted, it is not likely that all 8 of the picks will be used.
Another option, I would give up my Team #2 and take Team #8, if someone would prefer Team #2. I would like the challenge of rebuilding a team like team #8.
