ALBBX is a long standing league that was formed in the 1990's. The 12 team format expanded from 10 back in 2018. Over the past six seasons, ALBBX has seen six different champions crowned. The league is a private league that uses most standard rules from SS with a few modifications – details are below. The Dispersal draft - snake format - will be taking the available players from the (4) orphan teams (2, 3, 7, 9). Team numbers, including draft picks acquired or given up, will be chosen by new owners as part of the dispersal draft.
Scoresheets rules are followed with these changes:
Only (2) crossovers are permitted each year – old style SS rule.
We award 2 Wild Card teams to the playoffs
We restructure the division setup each year (so strong teams are spread among multiple divisions)
We require the World Series Champion owner to be League Commissioner the following year.
