Two Openings in 10 team AL League

We have two openings in AL Playball, a long standing AL Scoresheet league (I have been an owner since 2002 --- Joe Mauer was my first pick in this league): Teams 3 and 7.

Top players for Team 3: Valdez, Cole, Giolito, Franco; Minor Leaguers: Espino, Peraza, E. Rodriguez

Top players for Team 7: Bieber, Darvish, Verlander, Bregman, Seager, Bichette, Stanton; This team won 100 games last year and was runner up. (this team does a crossover issue with Darvish, Verlander, Arraez and Mookie Betts).

Our league rules are some what different:

We keep 2 crossovers. Minor league keepers start at round 38. Unlimited minor leaguers plus an owner can (if they choose to do so) also keep 2 supplemental players selected from the previous year as minor leaguers (we have that list if interested). Rookies and supplemental keepers do not count as crossovers. Crossover picks are tradeable.

In order to stop tanking, we have implemented a rule that the first team out of the post season gets the first overall pick then the 2nd round (rd 15) the draft goes back to the normal order. This year Team 3 has the first pick then in rd 15 they have the 6th pick in that round. We have 4 teams that make the playoffs.

Our draft is also held by phone via conference call. This is held on a Sunday night date agreed upon by owners. The preseason draft is held in 2 stages, rds 14-23 then 24 + is the 2nd stage. The first draft might last an hour, the 2nd might last 30 - 45 minutes (depending on the number of picks although once an owner has finished drafting, they can drop off the call). Each supplemental takes 15-30 minutes -- held via phone as well.
