Would any of you be interested in doing a NL-only Scoresheet league with a Roto Draft with a fixed budget allowance to bid on players (amount to be determined)?
The draft would be done online, in one day, the weekend before the season starts, live via Skype or Zoom some other similar App.
This would eliminate the standard snake draft determined by your finish the previous season.
In Roto, the budget is $260 for 23 players.
That's $11.30 per player, on average.
If we go with 35-man rosters, that works out to a $396 budget. (maybe less)
We could do expansion drafts the same way, allowing, say $20 for 2 picks each of the 5 expansion drafts.
After 3 years, you can keep a player for an additional year for an additional cost based on his OPS rating.
But you can't spend more than the $396 budget at the draft.
More details to be worked out.
I'd like to do it where we each throw in $100 bucks and winner takes all.
12-team league, NL only.
Thoughts?
Interested?
Let me know.
