Orphan Team #1 (77-85) won its division despite giving up roughly as many runs as it scored (4). Roster highlights include a talented starting rotation headed by Zac Gallen (Ari, 2.54 ERA) and a blue chip pitching prospect *Ryan Pepiot (LAD) waiting in the wings. The offense leaned heavily on the combined production of 1B Rizzo (NYA,32 HR), 3B Bohm (PHI,13 HR,strong 2H), SS Segura (13 HR,10 Stolen Bases) and talented but oft- injured OF Winker (Sea,14 HR). Team #1 retains all of its keeper slots (13) and draft picks including the tenth overall selection.
NL Internet is a private, continuing NL that dates back to the early years of scoresheet. It remains an active, highly competitive league with knowledgeable owners. If you're looking for a competitive challenge, this is it. Our preseason and supplemental player drafts utilize scoresheet's web-based ranking system. NL Internet follows standard scoresheet rules with two exceptions: 1) owners are permitted to protect four (not unlimited) rookie keepers (rnds 32-35), and 2) we protect two (not three) AL cross-over players (AL rookies count towards the total of two AL cross-overs allowed). The complete roster of Team #1 can be viewed at the website below.
