a few people have asked me to specify the rule changes more clearly so here goes...
It's a 10 team AL league where we are allowed to draft a few NL Players (yes it will be a little star studded but we are trying to mix it up a little and with the recent defections from AL to NL of alot of star power (Betts, Lindor, Machado, Snell, Springer, Morton, Darvish, Gray etc...) we feel this will even it out and create your only chance as an AL owner to draft people like Tatis, Acuna, Soto, Harper, DeGrom etc....
In the initial draft only we will each get to draft up to 2 NL players and 1 NL Rookie (or up to all 3 rookies if you want) one of those 3 NL players must be drafted by the conclusion of round 20.
The differences from scoresheet’s normal rules are we draft 40 rounds instead of 35 every year (helps with bench for injuries and let's you speculate on an extra rookie or two and grab that extra flyer type).
each year we get to protect 2 rookies without losing a draft pick after that each rookie costs you your last pick just like regular.
And lastly to make up for the fact that we are drafting 3 NL Guys out of the gate we are allowed to protect 5 NL guys
