Team 6 (Tampa Bay Rays) and Team 9 (Los Angeles Angels) are available.
This root league allows 14 major league players to be protected. At least seven (7) of the major league players must be from the root team. The remaining major league players may be from any team.
The league allows three (3) crossover players (the presence of certain NL players is because we originally drafted one NL player).
You may also protect, without SS penalty, up to 15 minor league players. At least 10 of them must be root minor league players and the other five (5) may be from any team. You may keep up to 15 root minor leaguers. If a root minor leaguer was drafted by another team, but not protected when protection lists are due, then you may add that root minor league player. You may also add non-protected root minor leaguer players that were not drafted last year or drafted by another team and not protected. However, keeping more than five (5) non-root minor leaguers causes the loss of a draft round (under usual SS rules), as does keeping more than 15 total minor leaguers.
We draft under SS rules. However, we automatically add the top two June amateur draft picks to your team each year. Otherwise, we use the SS supplemental drafts. We use SS web-based drafting.
