I am still thinking about starting an AL only league if there is interest. I am open to suggestions but here are a couple of items I thought about compared to other start-up leagues:
1) Allow zero NL crossovers to start with but the standard two after each season.
2) Come up with a way to limit the rounds and amount of rookies initially picked. I've seen where guys in start up leagues load up on the Bryce Harpers of the world and tank the first couple of seasons. I'd rather see it be competitive from the get go for all and therefore cap the rookies out of the shoot. Just thinking out loud.
