The Shoeless Joe League (SJL), founded in 1990 and still going strong, is in need of a new owner. Key facts:
* Sixteen teams in a BL, non-DH format
* Dynasty, salary cap format, with extensions and free agent auctions.
* Uses a restricted set of players. Unless a player was drafted into SJL when young, he'll never be in SJL. The SJL player list represents 65 to 70 of Major League at-bats and innings pitched. The annual entry draft is in March.
* Two division format, with six teams advancing to the play-offs.
* The available team, the Casablanca Usual Suspects (name change allowed and encouraged), is in poor shape, but has a huge bankroll for the free agent auction and high draft picks to use in March. Competing in 2019 seems unlikely, but a good owner may be able to return to competitiveness by 2020.
* The SJL website is here, [
sites.google.com], the SJL constitution here, [
docs.google.com], and the Casablanca roster here, [

Feel free to look around the website. We're a good group and hope to find someone who enjoys adding to our long history.
