NL Rising Phoenix is a root league. The Colorado Rockies root team is available (Team 2). The team has all of its picks. Each team protects 14 major league players, at least 7 of which must be root team major league players. Each team may also protect (without loss of rds. 35, 34. etc) up to 15 minor league players, at least 10 of which must be minor league root players and up to 5 of which may be minor league players from any NL team. You may save more minor leaguers, but then normal SS round loss rules apply. The players to be saved may come from the Team 2 player list. Root players may come from that list, or unprotected Colorado root players that were on another team last year, or undrafted Colorado root players (listed as NL players last year-no crossovers) from last year. You may have 3 crossover players. Each year the top-two Colorado amateur draftees are assigned to your team after the June draft.

Available players on Team 2 include (a good selection of Colorado minor leaguers are also on this team):

P: Lackey, S. Miller, Koehler, J. delaRosa, Bettis, Garza

C: Ruiz, Rosario

1B: Miggy Cabrera, Ruf

2B: D. Gordon, Hill

3B: Arenado

SS: T. Tulowitzki, Kang (3b also)

OF: Blackmon, C. Gonzalez, Dickerson, Stubbs, Parker
