AL Root Beer is a root league. The Texas Ranger team (team 3) is available. This team has all of its 2016 picks. Each team saves 7 major league root players and 7 other major league players (which may also be from the root team). The root players may be selected from the team's roster, or from undrafted root players (those on the Rangers at the end of 2015, but not NL crossovers), or from root players drafted and unprotected by another team. Each team may also save up to 15 minor league players, of which up to 10 may be root minor leaguers and up to 5 may be non-root minor league players (you may save more, but then you will lose rounds 35, 34, etc.). Otherwise, standard Scoresheet rules apply with some minor exceptions. The league does allow 3 crossovers and each root teams top two June amateur draft picks are added to the team roster.
