Hello,
BL-Fisk is a long-running, active and stable 20 team BL with three vacancies for the 2015 season. Teams 6, 10 and 11 are available. We will be having a three-team dispersal draft before the start of roster cutdowns and the off-season draft. The orphan teams won an average of almost 85 games, so this dispersal will have some real talent (see list below).

This will be a transition year for Fisk when it comes to our keepers. This past off-season, we have voted to move from 10 hard keeper slots to 13 soft keeper slots starting before the 2016 season. There is no lower limit on the number of keepers a team can keep. Each vet slot that isn't used is redeemed for a draft pick. If a team keeps 10 players and still has all it's vet slots, it will have draft picks in rounds 11, 12 and 13 before the main draft starts in round 14. The general idea being that weaker rosters can have the first shot at dropped players via these early picks.
League set-up:
20 teams
13 vet keepers (soft total - keeper slots can be turned in for early draft picks. If a team keeps only 12, their first pick will be round 13)
Unlimited rookie keeps (follow standard Scoresheet rules)
6 playoff teams, 4 divisions
Player eligibility - players don't have to be property of major league teams to be drafted
Drafts
36 rounds in the spring (includes 10 keeper rounds)
5 2-round dispersal drafts - one per month - April - August
We draft using the Scoresheet draft tool.
Schedule
The dispersal can begin once we have the new owners. Following the dispersal, we'll have a period of off-season trading before cutdowns. League owners have been holding off on trading until now pending our finding new owners and voting on our keeper rule changes.
