BL Daubert Salary Cap League

We are currently searching for players who would like to be on our waiting list to join Scoresheet BL Daubert. This league has several Scoresheet veterans, a few newer players, and overall just a bunch of guys that like to have fun. Trading is VERY active in this league ( I can provide a history if you would like).

Also, unlike normal Scoresheet leagues, you cannot just hold onto players forever. You must continually build your farm system, and supplement it with good free agents to build any type of dynasty in this league. There are several strategies you could take, but what would you do if you were GM of a big league ball club?

Here is our league website, where you can view rosters, salaries, and 2015 Free Agent auctions, and 2014/2015 Rule 4 Draft (Farm System Rookie Draft).

Right now our waitlist is EMPTY. People leave Scoresheet leagues all the time, so you would get to take over on this real GM experience once the next person leaves. We have had up to a waitlist of five in the past few years, to which all have been offered or taken over teams.

A summary of the league below....(salary cap league, very in-depth). We have some awesome free agents coming up this year that you normally wouldn't get a shot at in normal Scoresheet.

This league is the most competitive I have ever been a part of. Every year, you start with $100,000,000 in salary to give to players. Things that mimic the real MLB general manager type experience.

----------Every year, auctions for free agents, where the highest bidder gets the player. You may then choose to sign that player for a period of up to four years, at an increasing salary (discounted from normal) every year.
----------Renew players at the end of the year on a qualifying-type offer, where you can keep them an extra year, at a large salary increase.
----------Minor league system, where you may have up to 21 players (not on salary), and upon activation they are given a set salary (very low).
----------Trade deadline of July 31 and August Waiver claims, just like real MLB.

In summary, you can build your team up through cheap youth, spend high on free agents if you wish, trade your farm system for a rental player to go for the championship.

There's basically nothing you can't do short of talking to the actual players themselves that doesn't mock the real MLB experience.

Our current waitlist has been exhausted. While we have 20 owners, we still see without fail where someone leaves in the spring or doesn't pay fees. I am hoping this DOESN'T happen, but know to expect it. If not, you will be first in line to join us when a spot opens.

If you would like to be a part of this awesome 20-team experience with other dedicated, hard-core owners, or just ask me questions about the league, see samples, see our website, please contact me at:

This league is only for people willing to be more involved than most fantasy leagues. You must be willing to be dedicated and timely in e-mail responses during the auctions. We use Excel spreadsheets to keep track of rosters and salaries, some minor experience with this helps.
