NL COLL has been around for along time. We are a 10 team NL league.
We protect the standard 13 each spring with unlimited rookie keepers, loosing a draft pick at the back end for each rookie protected.
Most of our drafts are done using the SS draft tool. In the spring draft, we draft 38 rounds. We have the standard 5 sup drafts. The players drafted in the major league first year player draft in June are not eligible to be picked in the sup drafts. Uniquely, We hold a draft, in December, of 5 picks for each team of the players drafted in the major league first year player draft in June, these are tradable.
Crossovers, including the designated minor leaguers, cannot exceed three, these are not tradable. Players who are not on the original Scoresheet player list do not count against the 3 player limit even if they sign in the other league after the original player list is published by Scoresheet.
Another unique item is that one minor leaguer may be designated a “sophomore” and may be protected as a minor leaguer. To qualify as a “sophomore”, a player must have fewer than 300 career major league AB's or 100 career major league IP's.
