AL-Willard is a highly competitive 12-team continuing league. There are two open teams (5 and 11), and we have one new owner on board. The plan is for the two new owners to have a dispersal draft from the combined rosters.
AL-Willard has a 40-round spring draft, which tends to result in owners protecting more minor leaguers than is possible in most leagues. It's an ideal league for owners who want to build a roster from the ground up by drafting and developing prospects. Other owners prefer to pursue mostly veteran players, and that approach works well too.
All 12 teams play in one division, and the top four teams make the playoffs.
