Experienced Scoresheet owners can form their own team from the inception of the league. 10-team NL root league. Original protection lists of 10 MLB players and 12 prospects from your root MLB team. In subsequent years, owners MUST protect seven root team MLBers and MAY protect up to 10 root team prospects without penalty.

Available teams are Philadelphia, Atlanta, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Arizona, San Franscisco, Colorado and San Diego.
