AL Mountaineers was a local league in Charleston, WV where we drafted live but we have 1 owner that is leaving and we need to open it up to fill the league and do a web draft. The league is a soft keeper system so you can keep no players and start drafting in round 1. Teams also keep unlimited rookies that cost a late pick and has no bearing on when the teams start drafting during the regular draft. We announce our keepers one team at a time starting with the champ and moving up the order so whoever finishes last can always ensure they get the top pick by matching the lowest number. We will start the keeper process as soon as we fill the league. The league is only at 8 teams becasue the local NL had too many non-AL fans when we started up the AL league. Ideally, we always wanted to expand to 10 but never had the people but now that we opened it up that will be the goal next year.

The open team is 2 and has A Gonzalez, Kipnis, Seager, Bautista, Myers and Springer* and picks second in each round. Not alot of talent but with the soft keeper system and only 8 teams it is easier to climb into contention.
