AL Bleacher Bums has two orphan teams. We are a 10 team league that plays by mainly Scoresheet rules. We protect 13 players plus minor leaguers, and up to two NL players. We draft a 35 man roster in the preseason by web and have five midseason drafts of two players each. The two division winners and the wild card advance to the playoffs. Most of the guys have been in the league for over a decade. It's competitive and friendly.

Team 10 is an excellent team that won its division last year. Players include Justin Verlander, Cliff Lee, David Price, C. J. Wilson, Chris Davis, Alex Gordon, and Carlos Santana.

Team 1 is more of a rebuilding project, but there is talent here: Yu Darvish, John Lackey, R. A. Dickey, and Justin Masterson anchor the pitching staff.
