AL Midwest was formed in 2007 by many of the same owners in NL Great Lakes so we could have American League teams. We liked being in a league with one another. A few years ago we had a fellow drop a team and it was picked up by a friend of one of the owners who was a baseball fan. The next year another owner dropped so that person's brother joined. The brother's decided that Scoresheet was too much work for them.
We filled one opening but need another owner to step forward - team #6 is available. It finished 78-84 last year. We keep 10 players to allow for quicker rebuilds. Instead of supplemental drafts we allow you to pick up 9 free agents throughout the course of the year. Each Friday you submit a list of players you want - are awarded them (or not) and then can use them in the following week's games.
