AL-Willard is a 12-team league that has been highly competitive and congenial for 14 years. All of the teams play in one division with the top four making the playoffs. In most years half or more of the teams are in close competition for a playoff spot going into the final week.

The league follows most Scoresheet rules and procedures. The are two primary differences are:

In AL Willard the spring draft proceeds through round 40.

The only limit on minor leaguers protected is that each one costs your last available pick in the spring draft. (For example, if you kept 10 minor leaguers, you would forfeit picks 31-40.)

The league is ideal for owners interested in developing rookies as part of their overall strategy. Some owners have been very successful developing talent in their own minor-league systems, while others have won by focusing primarily on drafting and trading major leaguers.

The available team is Team #6. This team made the playoffs last year (tied for fourth in the standings). It has pitchers such as Verlander, Garza, and Ogando. Position players include Konerko, Zobrist, Kendrick Michael Young, A. Escobar, Austin Jackson, and others.
