NL Doubleheader is looking for owners for teams in our league. It is a great league with veteran owners. It is an active league.
The rules are standard scoresheet rules- 13 keepers, two crossovers and unlimited rookies. You can also trade any spot- regular protection and crossover spots. In our first year, owners were allowed to draft ONE AL player.
The available teams are:
Team #1 (76-86): Great young pitching!!! Dan Hudson, Lincecum, Strassburg, Pelfrey, Cliff Richard. Others are Berkman, ARod, Polanco, Furcal, Pence, Francouer and Beltran. Has a great rookie in Alonso.
Team #3 (70-92): Great top of the rotation! Felix Hernandez, Gallardo and Worley (3.01) . Great offense with Derek Lee, Neal Walker (.273, 12 hr), Hanley Ramirez, Ryan Roberts (19 hr), Jayson Werth and superstud Mike Stanton. Also has Derek Lowe and consistent Randy Wolf.
Team #4 (87-75). A definite playoff team! Wandy Rodriguez, tim stauffer, mike leake, paul maholm, Joe mauer, doumit, prince fielder, prado, pablo sandoval (.315, 21+ hr) , alex gonzalez, shane victorino, dexter fowler and seth smith (.284, 15 hr).
Team #9 (72-90): Great young pitching!!!!! Dan Haren, Cole Hamels, John Lester, Jordan Zimmerman, Collmenter and the veteran Dempster. Great offense! Buck, gabby sanchez, Adam Dunn, phenom Paul Goldschmidt, todd helton, danny espinosa (21 homers), aramis ramirez (.306, 26 hr),
McGehee, barmes, Mat holliday (.296 22 hr), phenom Jayson Heyward and top prospect tim wheeler.
Team #12 (86-76): Also a team with great young pitching!!! Ian Kennedy (2.88), Matt Cain (2.88), Jeff Karstens (3.38), Ted Lilly (3.97), Corey Luebke (3.29). Offense includes Hanigan, Teixeira (39 hr), dan uggla (36 hr), Ryan Zimmerman (.289, 12 hr), Yuneal Escobar (.290, 11 hr), Mike Morse (.303, 31 hr), Corey Hart (.285, 26 hr) and John Jay (.297, 10 hr). Also has a returning Chris Coghlan.
