Team 12 is available in NLCOLL, a stable league entering it’s 14th year of existence. Team 12 finished 86-76 last year and led the league in ERA (3.07). The league uses Scoresheet’s web-based draft.
The league deviates from the standard Scoresheet rules in that:
1. It drafts thru round 38.
2. It allows 3 AL x-overs but minor leaguers count against the 3-player limit.
3. A maximum of 2 protections slots may be traded by a team and must be for draft picks in the subsequent pre-season draft.
4. It allows the designation of one player as a “sophomore” (position player with less than 300 career AB’s or a pitcher with less than 100 career IP’s) who can be protected as a minor leaguer;
5. Players selected during MLB’s 1st-year player draft conducted in June are not allowed to be selected during the subsequent Scoresheet supplemental drafts for that year. The league conducts a "winter" draft by e-mail during which players selected during MLB’s 1st-year player draft are selected.
