NL JABO (Just a Bit Outside) is a long-running NL only league that has an opening for one team - Team 5.
This league uses the Scoresheet web based draft system for all drafts. JABO is a unique NL league in which every owner is allowed 13 keepers of which only TWO can be an AL Crossover. Also, we keep only 3 minor leaguers (Rounds 33-35 and may include crossover minor leaguers that don't count towards the a AL limit), just like the old Scoresheet rules.
But you don’t want just any old rag-tag castaway team that the owner stripped bare with auto-drafted five catchers and Brent Suter as your staff ace.
So, what if I told you this team has reigning NL MVP Freddie Freeman? But wait! There’s more. The outfield has some familiar names, such as Bryce Harper! Ronald Acuña! Sterling Marte! You like second basemen? Well, here we have Jose Altuve!
Sounds great, but what about pitching? Who ya’ got? Well, we’ve got Patrick Corbin, Carlos Martinez, Antonio Senzatela. A lot of potential on the staff with Touissant, Mahle, Gomber, Alzolay, Newcomb. The team had the second best record in the abbreviated 2020 season, so there is lots to like here.
Team 5 has the #9 pick in the 2021 preseason draft.
