Excellent post. The game is changing. Far more quickly than we realize. A few years ago I commented to my father in law that something is wrong with middle infielders going opposite field yard. It never happened in the 50's & 60's. Nellie Fox and Luis Aparicio were not 20 homer guys like Albies and Didi. Today the experts admit the baseball itself is more aerodynamic than they understand. Yes, the players are probably stronger and overall better athletes today than yesterday.
JML hits it right on the sweet spot. In Scoresheet we need more available benches. Winning leagues is now a matter of more "luck" than "strategy".
We need more flexibility.
