We are a unique Scoresheet league that offers a salary cap structure with the ability to put players under contract for up to four years. This allows the free agent pool to constantly turn over unlike most leagues. This year, Trout and Kershaw are both available as free agents.
We also encourage building up young players, just as a real GM would. Every November we have a "rookie" draft, where you can put on your farm system minor leaguers that have no playing experience. These do not count against your salary cap until you activate them to your roster. Once activated, they are very cheap and you get up to five controllable years (just as in ML
