NL CFAN, a long standing NL continuing league is looking for an owner to take over team 12. The league is comprised of 12 teams and has had little turnover during the life of the league. The format of the league includes 12 keepers with 3 additional slots for minor league players and 2 AL crossovers. The owners are some of the most fair and engaging that you will find in Scoresheet and are active throughout both during the regular season and off season in improving their rosters through trading.
The regular season draft is unique in that it is a chat room based draft. Rounds 13-23 are drafted on a Sunday evening in early-mid March and rounds 24-33 are drafted on a Sunday evening in mid-late March. Drafts usually take 2-3 hours to complete.
Team 12s roster is highlighted by Miguel Cabrera, with Matt Downs, Geovany Soto, and Cameron Maybin as other notable position players. The team’s strength is its pitching with Zack Greinke, Ricky Nolasco, James McDonald, Jonathan Sanchez, and Kyle Drabek to name a few. For minor leaguers, Jameson Taillon and Gerrit Cole are the team’s strongest prospects. Team 12 will have the sixth pick in round 13 and in all subsequent rounds. The team is not missing any picks but does have an additional pick in round 27 (the ninth pick in the round).
Please contact me via email at tgrstyl16@yahoo.com if you are interested in team 12.
Thanks,
