NFL Fynaardt has been a 12 team league that has been around for about 15 years. This year we had 3 owners drop out, so instead of trying to find owners to "take over" teams, we are trying to just start the league over and have a new draft for the first time in those 15 years. We're kind of excited to draft from scratch again. We currently have 10 owners (we've found #10 already) and are looking to try and get either 2 or 4 more. We would love to find 4 new owners to start a 14 team league, as that would present a challenge that not many other leagues present. We've always protected less players than "normal" leagues that keep 14. We've usually just kept 7, but are upping that to 9 with the new league. We like keeping less players, as it still lets you keep the core of your team and still a really good player or two on defense. And it puts a few players back into the draft the following year that normally wouldn't be available. If we get two more owners for a 12 team league, we'll draft 30 rounds. If we get 4 more owners for 14, we'll draft 33 rounds to help give everyone more depth at the start of the season, as the talent pool will be spread a little thinner. E-mail me at
