Carter a class act till the end

Gary Carter’s passing on Thursday at the age of 57 was truly a sad day for baseball. He was a quality individual and a genuine class act – a Hall of Famer on and off the field. Baseball couldn’t have had a better role model for its legions of young fans than the affable Carter.
