2004 Scoresheet Baseball
NL Player List
This was the
list for the 2004 season - do NOT use this list for 2005! The
2005 player list, including what positions players qualify at
for 2005, will be uploaded right around January 15th, 2005.

AL player list BL (combined league) player list
New this year: We now have a spreadsheet
friendly (tab separated) version of the combined league
player list. Fields (including first and last name) are separated
by tabs, and our hope is that you can download this list, import
it into your favorite spreadsheet program, and then sort by player
number (to get AL and NL versions), or by position, or whatever
you want. We also have a combined
league player list already in excel Also available
are PDF files for the rule packets: private
draft notes in PDF , AL
rules/draft packet in PDF , NL
rules/draft packet in PDF .
If you are in a Scoresheet National League that is drafting
by sending in lists to us, you can draft any player that is on
this 2004 Scoresheet NL player list, even if they have
been traded to the AL, or signed by an AL team, since this list
was finalized on January 19th. Conversely, any player that is
on our 2004 AL list will not be eligible to draft in Scoresheet
NLs drafting by list for the entire 2004 season. (If you are
unsure if a player is on our AL list you can/should still list
him - we will just skip over him if he is not eligible. Of
course, you can always look on the AL
list for a guy - that list is also on this web site!) There
are many players that have not yet signed with a major league
team as of January 19th (when we finalized these player lists),
and are not on either list. You are allowed to draft such a player
only after he is under contract to (or drafted by) an
NL team or an NL owned minor league team. If you list such a
player you must include his full name, current team affiliation,
and position, for him to be added to our eligible lists. But
once again, players who are on this list (even unsigned ones
such as Maddux, Ivan Rodriguez, Urbina and Mondesi) are all considered
Scoresheet NL players for 2004.
Create draft list:
There is now a feature on our web site that allows you to create
your ranking list by simply clicking on player's names. You
can also edit your ranking list by cutting and pasting, can save
it to work on later, and can e-mail your list straight to us
from the web page. Click on the following link to get to that
new feature:
For US leagues: create
ranking list - US
For Canadian leagues, use: create
ranking list - Canada
If you are in a league that has already run the first stage
of your draft, you should go to your league's web page to see
a list of players still available in your league. You can
also create your draft list for the next stage from your league's
web page by simply clicking on available player's names.
If you prefer to create your draft list on your own computer
and then send it in by e-mail, you can just download this player
list, and then cut and paste the player's entire line to your
draft list (ending up with a draft list with players listed in
the order you want to draft them). You do not have to delete
anything (points, age, etc) - you can just leave the whole line
as is. Or, as mentioned above, you can create your ranking sheet
by clicking on names by going to the links shown above.
If you are reporting the draft results for an entire league
(meaning you are the commish of a private draft league), you
can go to your league's web page and report team rosters by simply
clicking on player's names.
If you are the commissioner and reporting results for a
new league, please go to:
