will be 1 PM Eastern/10 AM Pacific Time on Monday July 6th,
when that first MLB game of the week begins.

Scoresheet Baseball June 29th, 2009
Hi Again: The All Star break is coming up in two weeks. As an early reminder, that week, since the
first MLB games won’t be starting until Thursday July 16th, the deadline for any new lineups or
trades you send in for that week’s games won’t be until Thursday afternoon July 16th.

This week we've printed a short list of 'Scoresheet All-Stars' and 'Scoresheet All-Worsts'. We took
all of the players in the majors, and totaled the won-loss records for all of the teams that they
are on in Scoresheet, and then divided by the number of teams they play on to come up with their
'average Scoresheet won-loss record.' Most pennant races are decided by just a couple of games, so
if a single player makes the difference in 3 or 4 games that is a big deal.

This list is not just an order of the players who are having the best (and worst) seasons, but more
shows players who are playing much better or worse than what they 'cost' (how high the draft pick
used to get them, or what they cost in trade).

*Note A player such as Emilio Bonifacio or Felipe Paulino may show on a league's 'Worst' list because
he was not picked until the mid-season supplemental draft in many leagues. Those drafts go in the
reverse order of won-loss records, and since Paulino was a top supplemental pick in many leagues, he did
end up getting picked by a lot of teams that already had a losing record when they got him.
