Special Discount Pricing for New Players

This special introductory offer of $29 is for team owners that have never played Scoresheet Fantasy Baseball before, or have not played Baseball with us in at least 5 years. If you have played Scoresheet Fantasy Baseball in the past 5 years then please go to our regular Order Form.

As soon as we receive your order we will sign you up for a team in the upcoming season.

If you join alone or with just a couple of friends we will put you in a league with other individuals. We will be forming leagues through mid March, but the earlier you join the more time you will have to prepare for and enjoy the draft.

You can either choose to join a league that will draft by submitting lists on the web, or in a league where ranking lists are sent to the Scoresheet office and then we run the draft and send you back the results. Since you are reading this you obviously have web access, so we recommend choosing the 'web draft' option since that will give you the most control over your draft. If you have a complete league you can either draft using our web draft, or you can hold your own draft and then just send us the team rosters. If you want to form a new complete league of friends, then please contact us:

Most new players do join a single season standard or root league their first year, which is what we recommend.

Would you like to play in a league using web based drafting (recommended), where you create and edit your ranking list on the web, you can see each pick as soon as it is made, and you can change your ranking list every round if you like. Or would you rather be in a league where the entire draft is done in three stages, where you send the Scoresheet office a ranking list before each stage, and each ranking list must be used for the entire stage?:

We are also offering some single-season "root leagues", where several of your starters and most of your bench and bullpen will come from your favorite major league team. We have done our best to design the root league drafting rules so that all teams have an equal shot at competing for the league title. As someone new to Scoresheet the special $29 introductory price *is* also good for root league teams.

We have one last AL Root and one last NL Root league and both are slated to start drafting Tuesday evening, March 12th. The NL is full. For that AL there are still two teams available - Texas and Oakland. If you would like to take either the Rangers or A's please let us know.

We are not setting up any new public keeper leagues for 2019.

However, there are some orphaned teams in existing continuing leagues that are available. If you are interested in taking over an available team, please go to our: List of Leagues with Available Teams page. Once you find a team you'd like please contact us to claim it. (For a complete list of the continuing league rules, go to: Continuing Baseball League Rules.) Orphaned teams also do qualify for the special $29 introductory rate if you are new to Scoresheet.

Franchise fees are $29 per team for customers new to Scoresheet Fantasy Baseball. As long as you turn in lineup cards using our web-based lineup form there will be no charge for lineup changes (or any other type of transaction), so the above team fee will be your total cost for the season.
